How to Remove Content Advisor in IE 7 Without Your Password

Symptom: You can access your homepage but whenever you try to browse to another page it prompts you for the Content Advisor Password (See Photo A1).

Cause: IE's Content has been activated so that it will require password everytime you access a new page.


Solution:
1. Go to the registry Editor: Click "Start" then Click on "Run" (See Pic 2) and on the run dialogue box, type in "RegEdit" (see Pic 3).

4. In the Registry Editor (see Pic 4.) go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies
then delete the "Ratings" key (See Pic. 5)

5. Restart Internet Explorer and start browsing the internet. Thank you!
