The Task Manager

The Windows Task Manager allows you to run and end programs. This is commonly used to stop programs that are freezing and not responding. It also offers other features such as monitoring of processor and network activities etc.

There are two conventional ways to run the task manager: 1. by holding "CTRL" + "ALT" + "Delete" simultaneously and 2. by clicking "Start" choose "Run" then type in "TaskMgr" then click "ok"(See Pic 1). The Task Manager will appear (See Pic 2.)

Pic 1. Type in "TaskMgr" at the run dialogue box.
