hi, you know your stuff! been looking at some of your youtubes. Thanks for the advice. I have a problem on one of my systems. Im a novice when it comes to getting into the backend of systems and need some help. Its an older system windows xp, packard bell, that Im giving to one of my sisters. I decided to factory set the system so she would have a clear and faster operating system. In the process of doing this ive used the wrong disks from another xp acer laptop and Im getting bootmgr missing. Ive got an iso version of xp and can boot into the recovery console. ive opted to go with setup window xp, created a partition and installed xp on to that partition. the system still does not start. do i format the main \'c\' drive? and install on here??? Help, Ive been on this all day.
