Hi, I saw your reply in the TechNet forum and thought I would ask for assistance.
I, too, am experiencing the \"you don\'t have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission." Error but in my case it is intermittent. I am on W7 Pro with three 2 TB drives; drive "1" is my main, or C drive.
The issue, as I said, is intermittent and only effects drive 1. It is not folder or file type specific. I can be copy/pasting 20 items; all the same, all from the same source and it will randomly throw the error. If I click SAVE again, one of four things occurs:
1. It will save the item as a zero bit file.
2. It will SAVE the file.
3. It will save the item as a zero bit file but pressing SAVE a second time will create the actual file, overwriting the zero bit copy.
4. I have to go to another folder to save.
On drive 1, I created my named user Login name/Admin with full control as part of the initial OS installation. This user does NOT exist on drives 2 and 3; they have only the default profiles. Drives 2 and 3 never experience this problem.
I am at a loss and could use some help, please.
